The RehabGYM Expands to Colchester
The RehabGYM is proud to announce our opening at Roosevelt Plaza in Colchester! Our Colchester location is much larger than our current site in Maple Tree Place, Williston. One of its most prominent features is a custom-built therapy pool with two separate sections: one for standing therapy work and a deeper section for constant-current swimming and group aquatic exercise classes. We are also proud to announce the development of Kids' RehabGYM, a pediatric facility. The RehabGYM at Colchester also features private treatment rooms, a basketball court, and a climbing wall.

Biodex Balance System
The RehabGYM has the latest in screening and treatment for fall prevention in older adults and for athletes pre-disposed to knee injuries. The Biodex Balance System objectively assesses balance and neuromuscular deficiencies responsible for fall risk. Balance training includes proprioception and stabilization exercise, range of motion, and weight shift exercises. The Biodex has five training modes, interactive balance training with visual feedback, as well as documentation of your progress. This unique device can make balance training fun and motivating to work toward your goals. The RehabGYM offers a fall risk program for older adults that includes balance training, gait analysis, and a home program to focus on areas of weakness and decrease range-of-motion to improve balance and mobility.
